Night 1 Discussion

So...we know that we'll either kill MichiganHero or Destiny. The question...who?

I vote Destiny, as we suspect his role has abilities, whereas MH's, if he is indeed Bobby, probably doesn't.

The only way I can forsee Bobby having a good power, is if they went with the episode (or two) that notes Bobby is a especially skilled natural firing a rifle.

Otherwise he's Bobby.

And I dont think MH would use a vig thing on night 1. I could protect TBP, just to make sure we are covered.

He could be a PGO as well, but we'll see what happens this night.

Let's protect TBP just in case he is a Vig.

So: Kill Destiny, Protect TGO, Frame... Grunt?

My reasoning for the latter being nobody seems to suspect me or Sam at all (at least openly), so if Destiny isn't the (only) investigator, might as well protect the second most suspected real scum? After all, there's no real reason to not use the ability. Not at this early stage at least. The worst that'll happen is nobody investigates Grunt and it's wasted.

I agree either Grunt or I likely Grunt should be framed, that was just slightly bad luck there early on. Sent the kill on Destiny.

Even if it was for the wrong reasons, it's still a jackpot.

Still means we need to find out who the other killer is. Or at least whether they're a lone SK or a whole new faction. Or possibly it was MH as a PGO as previously theorised. The writeup did seem to paint Luanna as a possible investigator (with her being overly social/chatty. And hairdressers are #2 to bartenders in terms of being privy to information, so it would make sense from a meta point of view). lostrelms investigates MH to see if he's really Bobby, Bobby blows his head off. Sounds reasonable.

And fits the numbers. And since this is Unregistered first game, its probably fairly vanilla.

Yeah, good point. I should learn to read the recaps properly. So, for a lostrelms-style breakdown attempt:

A young man who was on his way looking to change the world was stopped before he even could leave the front door.

Not a big KOTH fan, so no idea who this is.

The woman was on him, telling him all about her day, and the next thing he knew he had already fallen asleep. The women, not put off by this, just continued talking… Happy to have someone hear what she had to say. While the women had been so busy talking to herself, she had not realized she had been followed that night. Once by a women whom had quickly come and gone, but then again once more later that night.

We know this to be Luann. Not sure who the woman that came and went is (can't be me, I would've only been seen with Grunt, who is a dog. How do you frame a dog, anyway? ¬_¬). The man in the following paragraph was obviously the killer.

The one after that is obviously Hank and Khan.

In the other room, the sound of Channel 84 news was heard, as it went into a late breaking report.

The young women had been looking all over town for her target. She must have gotten lost, because she ended up in the least likely place to find him. She had wasted a night, but she still had hope. When she turned around, there was a lone figure in the darkness. The figure realizing that she wasn’t his target, would also go home that night empty handed. It had been a failure of a night for both of them.

That sounds like me, and also someone else whose ability wasn't triggered (did someone investigate Destiny perhaps?)

If you ever want to pad your productivity, talk to Cappy some. He lobs softballs all day.

I mean, dont indulge him too much, but "helping him out" is encouragable.

Actually, from a narrative point of view, that last paragraph may not be me (or is every action traditionally included in these posts even if nothing happens?). Thinking about it, why would I spend all night searching for MY OWN DOG? :p

Town is spending too much effort discussing stuff that doesnt matter.

Thatherton or Kahn? It doesnt really make a difference right now. No one is going to claim either...

I love how ridiculously involved this "who would know where Hank's bathroom" discussion is getting.
